COVID-19 Pandemic
June 2020
This website will provide current guidance for my patients while we all deal with COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
I will update this website periodically when new information of importance becomes available, especially with regards to the easing of restrictions.
Firstly, ALL PREVIOUSLY-BOOKED IN-OFFICE APPOINTMENTS ARE CANCELLED!

Based on the realities of the first phase of this pandemic here in Canada, I think it will be quite some time before we can resume “business as usual”, probably many, many months into the future.
After I closed the office on March 12, 2020, the first 1-2 weeks were definitely the “deer in the headlights” phase!
Over the following weeks, we adapted our operation to cover the most important needs, yet still conserve our own energy for everyday routine requests, such as prescription refills and so on.
While working remotely, everything takes longer to complete, so the workdays crept into the evenings and weekends. “Burnout” was setting in.
We recognized that we could not keep doing this indefinitely!
As a result, we decided to shorten our work week, so that we could all stay healthy mentally for the long term, and for you. We will still be available, but we may not respond immediately. Allow for a 24-48 hour response time in the workweek, and longer over weekends.
I will be working weekdays from Tuesday through Thursday, but I am taking Mondays, Fridays, and weekends off.
Currently, I work from the office and Lindsay from home. Nancy, our newest team member, has started back in the office part-time as of early June.
All of us in the office regard you, our patients, as part of our community, You are woven into our daily lives. We miss seeing you (in person!), talking to you, laughing with you, learning about you, learning from you, sharing our stories with you, sharing your lives with us.
This, too, shall pass, but in the meantime, the “new normal” is here.
Let’s all do our best to act responsibly, follow Public Health guidelines, and Stay Safe!
